WHERE: Clark Atlanta University Gymnasium, or in the event of inclement weather a room in the Georgia State University Recreation Center is being reserved.

REGISTRATION: Register online here.  Registration is required of all undergraduate unites and alumni participants. Registration is free but food and lodging is of the responsibility of the attendee. PURPOSE:

  • To review basic and advanced Drill and Ceremony executions and commands to prepare for both the National Society of Pershing Angels, Inc and National Society of Pershing Rifle annual national conventions, held in March and April;
  • To introduce and review basic and advanced Drill and Ceremony executions and commands so that the MS level I and II of Georgia State University Panther Battalion are equipped with D&C knowledge and perform efficiently in their officer training
  • To review and practice D&C commands with MS levels III & IV to enhance their leadership skills.

METHOD: We are introducing and reviewing Regulation Drill and Ceremony and Exhibition Drill and Ceremony. There will be two ability groups, Alpha  and Bravo, for both categories.

  • Alpha: (Day 1) - short review, then everyone should command facing movements stationary and mobile; (armed) those who bring their weapons will be doing facing movements and marching, (Day 2) facing movements, more advanced marching, cadence, small teams will compete against each other.
  • Bravo: (Day 1) Commanding the squad; (armed) those who bring their weapons will be marching and spinning, (Day 2) executing commands, taking control of squads from the alpha group.
