In my 25th year of love and commitment to the National Society of Pershing Angels Inc., I would like to begin my tenure as National Commander 2014 – 2016 by paying homage to the late General John J. Pershing who had the incredible vision to form a crack drill team currently known as the National Society of Pershing Rifles fraternity. The basic principles of drill and service led to the formation of the Coed Affiliates of Pershing Rifles (CAPERS), predecessor for our great sorority. I do not take this position lightly and know that I am standing on the shoulders of the efforts of all of our past National Commanders. It is your tireless efforts that have blazed the path for me today.
As Commander, not only will I serve as your leader, I will lend my ear as a fellow sister. I will constantly keep in mind the tenets of my oath to be a fair and judicious leader and disciplinarian. While I take the ultimate responsibility in this new role, I am ever conscious that no one is an island and needs support. I will need the membership to get and stay active so that we can truly realize our purpose and vision. I thank you for voting for me to serve as your leader and I look forward to working with you all.
NSPA, National Commander
